As part of my ever-expanding quest for digital domination of intergalactic media, I will soon be writing music reviews here. But, worry not, I will still post my observations and rants on subjects sundry. I seem to have lost my way with new music, and have grown out-of-touch with many genres. The best way for me to correct this is to seek out stuff to write about. But I am faced with a dilemma. Critics usually gain noteriety with negative reviews. Anyone who knows me, knows my talent for negativity, for pessimism, for true cynicism. So the question is: do I play to my strengths?

ReplyDeleteGiven your much more comprehensive understanding of music as a whole,I think you would provide a valuable service to those of us who perceive something as bad (or good for that matter),and don't exactly know why.
I have a friend in the sign business to whom who I've sent pictures of signs.I know a bad sign when I see one,but he can explain in great detail what makes it bad.....that kind of thing.
